The Leader in Faith Formation was recognized for several titles in prayer and spirituality, as well as for the dynamic new “Renewed” and “Received” video programs for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
The Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP) has announced 96 finalists across 17 different categories for its prestigious 2024 Excellence in Publishing Awards.
13 Ascension titles were named as finalists in 7 categories, including all 3 titles which each received double finalist designations.
In ACP’s press release, ACP executive director Therese Brown commented:
“There are three interesting trends among this year’s finalists. First, how many titles across a number of categories are rooted in the Scriptures. Second, the continued growth in popular devotions like the rosary and novenas. Third, how the stories and experiences of contemporary (e.g., born in the twentieth century) men and women are featured, obviously, in the Biography category, but also appear throughout other categories. There is this rich connection between the foundations of faith and contemporary life.”
Winners in each category will be announced in June.

In 2022, Ascension books and programs won more awards from the EPA than any other publisher.
