Creator of the beloved The Bible Timeline® Learning System takes on the role of interviewer in new YouTube show from Ascension.
Catholic evangelists Jeff Cavins and Fr. Mike Schmitz made international headlines with the 2021 launch of their podcast, The Bible in a Year (with Fr. Mike Schmitz)™. This fall, the “two Minnesota boys” are together again for the debut episode of the new The Bible Timeline Show (with Jeff Cavins).
Premiering on Ascension’s The Bible in a Year YouTube channel on September 10, the first episode featured Cavins posing a poignant question to Fr. Mike: “If you could talk one-on-one with all those who have gone through The Bible in a Year and say, ‘By the way, just one more thing…’ what would you say?”
Fr. Mike paused, smiled, and replied: “Remember what God has done… don’t forget this [Bible in a Year experience]… And the second thing would be: your story isn’t over yet.”

A Lifetime of Helping Catholics Love and Understand Scripture
The Bible Timeline Show (with Jeff Cavins) is the latest in a lifetime of Biblical presentations from Jeff Cavins, a Minnesota-based Scripture scholar, author, and video presenter. Jeff is well known as the creator of The Bible Timeline® Learning System, a color-coded presentation of salvation history which hundreds of thousands of Catholics have used to better read and understand the Bible. This Learning System forms the basis for Ascension’s Great Adventure Bible Study programs, the Bible in a Year (with Fr. Beyond his decades of work with Ascension, Jeff is well-known as the founding host of EWTN’s Life on the Rock television program and also Relevant Radio’s Morning Air show. Jeff has worked in many leadership roles in his local Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis, and travels widely to give talks and retreats all around the world. Coming this Season on The Bible Timeline Show (with Jeff Cavins)
Jeff Cavins will host 12 other guests this season, including Dr. Mary Healy, Dr. John Bergsma, Fr. Boniface Hicks OSB, and Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio. The Bible Timeline Show will move chronologically through the Bible, considering each period’s themes, stories, and people in a discussion between Cavins and each featured guest.
