Ascension has earned “Great Place to Work” (GPTW) certification for the 4th year in a row, receiving a 95% Trust Index Score, 38 points higher than the average U.S. company.
This is the 4th workplace culture award that Ascension has earned this year. Previous honorifics have included:
- #8 Best Small Workplaces (Fortune magazine)
- #26 Best Small Workplaces for Women (Fortune magazine)
- #64 Best Small Workplaces for Millennials (Fortune magazine)
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Ascension stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
As explained on the GPTW website, the Great Place To Work Trust Index™ Survey measures “the level of trust in your organization and the consistency of the employee experience.” Questions focus on workplace culture benchmarks like clear and honest leadership, fair treatment, and employee recognition.
As surveyed, 98% of Ascension employees agreed with the statements:
- People here are given a lot of responsibility
- This is a psychologically and emotionally healthy place to work
- I am able to take time off from work when I think it’s necessary
- People are encouraged to balance their work life and their personal life
- People care about each other here
