On June 23—during the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus—the Ascension App will debut The Litany of the Sacred Heart: Introducing the Person of Jesus, a 33-part series of audio reflections on the approved titles of Jesus found in the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Fr. Mike Schmitz, Fr. Ambrose Criste, O Praem, Fr. Mark-Mary Ames, CFR, Jeff Cavins, Jackie and Bobby Angel, Sr. Alicia Torres, FE, and others featured in the series provide explanations and deeper reflections, in under ten minutes each, on the profound truths contained in each of the titles to help the faithful build and grow a personal relationship with Jesus.
“People don’t need tidbits about God. They need God,” commented Fr. Gregory Pine, OP, who is an Assistant Director of the Thomistic Institute. “When we meditate upon the titles of Our Lord we get some access to those mysteries, which fills out our spiritual life and draws us closer into communion with the Most High God.”
