Ascension expands its Sacramental preparation repertoire with stunning video-based programs that provide tools for parents in this pivotal time.
Ascension, the multimedia publisher known for the award-winning program Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation, has announced the new companion programs Renewed: Your Journey to First Reconciliation and Received: Your Journey to First Holy Communion. The two new titles —developed in harmony with feedback from parish leaders, catechists, and parents around the United States—each feature 12 lessons with engaging live action videos that follow the relatable main character Felicity as she prepares for her First Communion and First Reconciliation. The programs also include activities to get kids moving, beautiful original artwork, discussion questions, prayers, saint cards, Bible stories, and more.
Over half a million Catholic children go through preparation for First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation each year. All too often, parents who want their children to understand and live out their faith may feel they’re not equipped to get involved with their catechesis. Renewed and Received equip those parents with special at-home training videos—featuring Fr.
