[Exton, PA, August 14, 2018—] Ascension, the world leader in Faith Formation, introduced its first Spanish language edition of Chosen, its widely popular preparatory program for Confirmation.
Chosen: Your Journey Toward Confirmation is a 24-lesson presentation and was filmed in multiple locations in the U.S. and abroad. It features a number of powerful vignettes that challenge teens to ask probing questions about the ultimate meaning of their lives.
“All too often we see teens drifting away from their faith after Confirmation,” said Editor Meredith Wilson. “Chosen has proven it can reach young hearts and minds and keep them in the sacraments. Now, our Spanish youth can also be engaged, challenged and inspired with the richness of our Faith.”
Chosen brings to the screen 12 of the most talented Catholic evangelists in the world, including Deacon Howard Burke-Silvers, Chris Stefanick and Jason Evert. They cover topics ranging from “God and Happiness” to “The Four Last Things” and from “The Sacramental Life to The Gifts of the Holy Spirit” and from “The Beatitudes to Christian Sexuality.”
“Every one of the 24 lessons is targeted to where the doubt and confusion among our teens is greatest” said Ms. Wilson. “We know our Hispanic brothers and sisters share much of the same challenges when it comes to the Faith and we are so very happy to be able to offer this new edition just for them. In the end, it’s all about bringing as many souls as possible to Christ … and hopefully, doing so with a sense of commitment to discipleship.”
Chosen videos will now offer Spanish dubbing. Spanish Starter Packs will include the new DVDs, English Leader Guides, Student Workbooks, and Spanish Parent and Sponsor Guides.
